Olive green moleskin fustian waistcoat with cloth back and stand collar, like traditional 18th /19th century /Regency waistcoat.. Double breasted with 2 flap pockets, straight hem, 12 front buttons and laced adjuster at back waist to provide a good fit. Fronts slightly longer than back.

This is made up in a heavyweight moleskin so the waistcoat is a great bodywarmer. Cotton moleskin is a brushed pile fabric that was used for making working men clothes in the 19th century. It belongs to a family of cloths known as fustian (that includes corduroy). Waistcoat is lined in vintage tan cotton.

This line has now finished, we will shortly be making this style in an olive green wool cloth.

Care of waistcoats
If you drop things down your front we advise the use of a damp sponge or a flannel to clean off small marks. These waistcoats are 100% cotton and will wash well if you are careful - use a mild detergent and the wool cycle of your washing machine, choose a slow spin and line dry, do not tumble. Alternatively, these garments can be dry cleaned.
