The QV-3000Plus employs an advanced 3.34 megapixel CCD that captures every nuance of the subject you are trying to record. The QV-3000Plus also features primary color filters to create 2048 x 1536-pixel images of very high-definition and natural looking color, and a new F2.0 Canon 3X optical zoom, wide-aperture lens. All of this gives the QV-3000Plus the means to record images of subjects that are too difficult for existing digital cameras with amazing definition and clarity.The QV-3000Plus comes bundled with software that automates exchange of images with a personal computer and supports use of an IBM microdrive, which means that image management and transfers are quicker and easier than ever before. Other features include a Night Mode that uses a CASIO original noise reduction system, a choice between shutter speed priority and aperture priority, a Continuous Mode that records up to three images at intervals of 0.5 second, and much more. Take advantage of the latest disk drive technology by adding the IBM 340MB Microdrive to your Casio Digital Camera. This new microdrive weighs less than a AA battery and can hold 200 times more data or images than a floppy disk. The microdrive's very small size and high performance make it ideally suited for applications needing portability and having high data/image requirements.

Great Camera
Actually, I bought this camera to use as a parts camera to repair one just like it. This one was in such good shape, I'll just use it instead. It takes excellent pictures, and although it is a bit bigger than the new ones, it is still worth having. When it first hit the market, it was an $800 camera. It will do anything the new ones will do, and do it well. I use it for a back-up camera, or to lend out to someone who still uses film. Value for a very good old-timer
This was,I have read,the first 3 mp camera. It has more features than I need,is built like the proverbial tank,and by the way takes great pictures. You don't need 10 mp to take the kind of pics most folks take. I ended up buying two of the things.

Great Camera with Canon Lense
This is a great camera and was rated better than a Canon of the same mega pixels when it came out. I had bought one of these cameras years ago when they first came out and they were expensive.Great camera,good pictures and has a Canon Lense.The only draw back to this camera is the recovery time. You should be able to get a great deal on this Camera on ebay. I do like its bigger brother better the qv 4000 at 4.3 mega pixels compared to the 3.3 mega pixels.Great Camera though.This is a great camera and was rated better than a Canon of the same mega pixels when it came out.
