Marvel continues to beef up the Inhumans royal family - this time with Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor Ken Leung.

The upcoming live-action Inhumans show from ABC and Marvel Studios has cast Leung as Karnak - an Inhuman with the ability to discover the fault in people, plans and structures.

Karnak is the most trusted advisor of the Inhuman royal family, and is specifically close to Black Bolt (Anson Mount) and his queen Medusa (Serinda Swan).

"Ken brings both a wisdom and a power to the role that no-one else could match," Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb said today, promising: "His Karnak will be awesome!"

Showrunner Scott Buck added that Leung will bring his "great natural intelligence" to the complex and complicated Karnak, a character created by Marvel gurus Stan Lee and Jack Kirby back in the Silver Age of comics.

Leung recently helped lead the Resistance in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as Admiral Statura. His previous comic book experience includes playing Quill (or Kid Omega) in X-Men: The Last Stand.
