The Promise of High Temperature Superconductivity

The Promise of High Temperature Superconductivity

Almost all MRI machines today use superconducting coils for generating their magnetic fields, but other industrial applications of superconductivity, such as electricity transmission, are still in their infancy.  And the promise of room temperature superconductors has yet to be realized. Yet, important research continues and scientists will gather on September 5-9 at the Applied Superconductivity Conference in Denver, CO to share their latest findings.

Creare will showcase its capabilities in cryocoolers, high performance recuperators and custom cryogenic system development at Booth # 21 in the exhibition area.  We will also present a poster paper entitled “Field-Serviceable Cryostat for High-Temperature Superconducting Systems” on September 7 at 2:00 – 4:00 pm.  We hope to see you there!
