With heavenly help, the two girls set off to sing Christmas carols to an elderly woman, help a neighbor boy earn money for a new sled, and offer to help sew a quilt for an orphanage. Love the book, out of control pricing. It was actually written by my sister's roommates and friends and we all wanted a copy for our families, but too expensive.

Our world is filled with angels who reach out to help those in need. This is a great story to teach children about the value of serving others. It is also beautifully illistrated. I highly recommend this book to any one with kids young or old.

We originally got this book from the library and I absolutely love the beautiful message in the story. I was so surprisingly touched that I had to hold back (unsuccessfully at times) the tears. I love that it teaches selfless service, love, and the fact that we do have angels helping and strengthening us. We looked up the biography of the author and she has a beautiful, touching story with love and support from a wonderful family. The illustrator did a wonderful job as well with incredibly beautiful pictures. My children (ages 8 and 4) loved the book and we are now excitedly waiting for our own copy to be delivered.

This book is excellent! It's such a great way to teach young kids about kindness and serving others. We don't always have to do something major to make a difference. I read this book for the first time as an adult, but even then it made me really stop and think about what it means to be selfless and serve other people. These girls learned while they were serving other people that they could actually become closer, and they were able to reach out and help them in the process. I think we would all do well to try to be "snow angels" wherever we are, no matter the time of year.

I was honored with the privilege to know the author, Ms. Randall, as my daughter's 1st grade teacher. Through the traumatic events for Ms. Randall two years ago, I saw my little "angel" come to life with every day remembrance to do something kind to everyone because they might not have another one. As I listened to Ms. Randall's first reading of "Snow Angels" at the Enterprise Library, my eyes filled with tears and my heart with warmth as I knew this story was about my childhood with my best friend and sister Melissa. Where had those days gone. Forever being the one to serve it has been very difficult to realize that this time it is me that needs from others. "Snow Angels" gave me assurance in my heart that "it is okay to receive." The Best book I've ever read.

I got this book from the library and really enjoyed reading it with my children. It is a very touching story about finding joy in serving others. I loved that it showed the angels helping the girls in their service. The book is beautifully illustrated. My children especially like all the different angels the girls made at the end. I loved the lessons taught in the book about giving service all through the year. This is a book I plan to buy for my own library!

The book is well-illustrated and carries a good (albeit muddled) message of helping others. I like to make snow angels, and so does my child. I think you can enjoy winter and enjoy making snow angels without linking them to angels-from-heaven. This book has one page early on where the children are stuck in the snow and call on angels to help them -- the angels come, move the children's bodies into snow angels, and then depart. In the other parts of the book the children make snow angels to call the angels for help with their goodwill projects. The heavy religious overtones were unexpected based on the cover (publisher: put some angels on the cover). Furthermore, I disagree with a message that I took from the book, that the girls alone cannot help others; only with the help of the angels can they accomplish these good deeds.

Met the author at a book signing and had to purchase the book. The story is a great reminder to focus on acts of service and kindness to others in a world of selfishness, striving to turn Christmas and other things more into a business of greed. Great story to help us remember that by helping others, we really end up helping ourselves. Thanks!
