BRIANA EVIGAN (Andie) made her major feature debut as the star of the box-office hit Step Up 2: The Streets (2008). She continued with starring roles in several feature films including Subject: I Love You and S. Darko, opposite Daveigh Chase and Ed Westwick. She then starred in the suspense thriller Burning Bright, from the producers of Half Nelson.

Other film credits include She Loves Me Not (starring Cary Elwes), Stash House and Mother’s Day, starring Rebecca De Mornay. Her independent features include The Devil’s Carnival, Mine Games, A Certain Justice, Monica, A Star For Christmas and Rites of Passage, starring Wes Bentley and Christian Slater. On the small screen, she starred in Jerry Bruckheimer’s pilot “Trooper” and was a guest star on an episode of A&E’s acclaimed drama “Longmire.”

In 2009 Evigan won the Female Star of Tomorrow Award at ShoWest for her performance in Summit Entertainment’s feature Sorority Row. She also won Best Kiss at the MTV Movie Awards for Step Up 2: The Streets.

Evigan began dancing with renowned hip-hop choreographer Shane Sparks when she was 7 years old, studying with him for many years before extending her training to other choreographers. She credits Sparks with providing her with the foundation for her future work. Evigan was also the keyboardist and lead vocalist of the rock group Moorish Idol.

Evigan hails from a show business family. Her father, Greg Evigan, is an actor/singer/songwriter/musician who had two hit television series, “B.J. and the Bear” and “My Two Dads” as well as a steady career in feature films and television. Her mother is actress Pam Serpe. Evigan’s older sister Vanessa is also an actress and her brother Jason is a music producer.

Evigan currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
