What is love in this generation?

Or I should say the so kinda relationships! Which doesn’t usually work for more than a year. Nowadays relationships are just for the sake of recognition. People get to know you are in a relationship, that’s it. By seeing those people, the youth which is single wants to get into a relationship. Love has vanished from this generation. Just for your social life to become interesting you start talking to people. Whether you have something for them or not. Not even that, some relationships are for advantages they can get from the latter person. Or maybe if you are dating a person who is very beautiful, that’s considered as an achievement.

The real meaning of love is lost. Lost as in that I don’t think so we can get it back. What unconditional love was there in the ’80s, without any conditions, with no pros or cons, is not there anymore. Every relationship with anyone starts with a purpose. And when relationships break, usually the purpose won't be satisfying anymore. An individual is becoming shallow day by day. Leaving its own individuality for others who won't care about you after a certain point of time. Why do we usually change? We change because others want a change in us. But while changing we don’t see its feasible or not. Whether it is for our own good or not.

People out there are cruel. They make you change and leave you. So was it worthed? ask yourself. Forgetting yourself for someone who will leave you one day. As relationships don’t work usually. If they work too it doesn’t go till the end. So why be in some relation for short term? To destroy yourself as a person?

Getting into relation is so easy at this time. People don’t even think about it. They don’t ask themselves questions as Will it work? Will it stay till the end? Will it be worthed? I know love doesn’t happen with your own will. But one thing I know that you yourself put yourself there. I won’t say, don’t fall in love or don’t get into a relationship if you find it right. Just think if its genuine and will and your partner will give their 100%. Or if it doesn’t work after some point in time, you will be able to handle it.

Relationships are there to last till the end. It's not there for fun, I believe. You can't just come into somebody’s life, give them hopes and go away giving your silly reasons. Love is pure. It's unconditional. If people don’t get the meaning of it, it is better they don’t say they love someone. Portraying yourself as someone you are not just to impress someone. So what is the person falling for something which you are not? This is what it has ended up to.

Something which is fake, some totally, some partially. What is our generation looking up to? What are you looking for? Why are we are wasting time on the unwanted thing? Why we aren’t doing things which we are supposed to do? Why we always go in the direction which we aren’t correct at this point in time?
