Dr. Tien Tran is indeed a BOON to the Community.

When I learnt that my previous dentist Dr. Johnson who had taken care of my dental needs for several years, had retired from Valley Medical Clinic @ Tully Road, I was utterly disappointed. He had been such a good doctor all along.

Initially I was a bit skeptical when I was assigned Dr. Tien M. Tran. However, within a short time I felt that I was blessed to have him as my attending dentist.

Dr. Tran was not only meticulous in his work, but I would dare say a perfectionist. I also found him to be a good listener, very gentle and patient, while doing his best to understand my emergency needs.

The above is from my first encounter with him. I hope I would be able to have him as my dentist for all my future visits there- - - - no matter how long I may have to wait for my next appointment.

I felt in really good hands. I would recommend dr tran easily to anyone I know. Don't let the area deceive you. The outside may look like an odd place to have a dentist practice in, but once I walked in I forgot all about that. It's very professional!

I was nervous, anxious, and even skeptical with picking a new dentist.

I felt pain caused by a wisdom tooth coming in so I really wanted to see a dentist asap. I hadn't gone to the dentist in awhile because I didn't have any insurance before so believe me I had some fears of facing any dentist and what they would find or tell me. This comes from someone who had the same dentist for 15+ years since I was 5.

I came in here as a new patient. Dr. Tran's assistants are kind and attentive. They're sweet with helping you as easily as possible. They deserve 5 stars as well. As for Dr. Tran, I felt he was really thorough. I had some cavities which he was able to fill that same day. I appreciate the way the entire procedure went. I knew for a fact he knew exactly what he was doing. He recommended some oral surgeons for my wisdom teeth.
Overall, I was very very pleased with my visit here, considering I've always been afraid of going to the dentist I look forward to coming here again and making another appointment for a check up.

I went to this place to do teeth cleaning for $25. Well you get what you pay for! I had to wait at least 15 minutes while the dentist finish working on another patient. She didn't even talk or introduce herself in the beginning, just started cleaning. She was working by herself, no assistant. The way she talk to me about my teeth was so insulting. It's sad that some vietnamese people are so blunt. Let's just say that was the most painful dentist experience ever. It was hell! I thought my old dentist was horrible but this was on another level. It shouldn't have hurt that bad. Afterward, they said I need a deep clean. Obviously they didn't pay attention to what I said. I got tartar on my teeth because of a mouthwash that I had to use after the removal of 4 wisdom teeth. The bottle even said there would be tartar build up.

I think i'll go back to my old dentist, at least they care enough to have 2 ppl working on me and introducing themselves.

I had the hardest time finding a dentist in the area with good reviews and accepts medi-cal. Luckily, I found Dr. Tien. The last dentist I went to did a horrible job of cleaning my teeth so I never came back. Dr. Tien did an amazing job and he examined my teeth thoroughly to see if my teeth needed any other services. He's very honest and careful. I enjoyed my visit here very much and will be keeping him as my primary dentist.

I walked in nervous quickly realized this was a nice and comfortable place. It is welcoming and the staff is kind! We have had some awful experiences with other dentist in the past. I'm amaze of the dentist honesty and courtesy with my children. I was treated with respect and my children didn't have a fear! This is a great place:)

The staff here are always nice and attentive....very kind! This dentist has worked on me and my small children ages 2-4 for general cleanings, x rays and one even had to get 2 fillings complete with shots in the gums.....NO TEARS!!! The Dentist himself is very quiet but explains everything in depth. He even records dvds for kids and adults himself for his private practice. Never thought i'd say this but my kids love going to the dentist! They even have a treasure chest of rinky dink toys after the kids visit.
I would like to also note that before he pulled my tooth, he took my blood pressure and sent me home because it was too high. I was pissed that day but all in all it was for my safety. I went back about a couple of months later and got it pulled after I got my pressure down. The dentist explained to me that there was one type of numbing med he had to give me in order to pull out my wisdom teeth and if my blood pressure was too high it may cause me to pas out.

Dr. Tran is super awesome! He took the time to explain everything to me! He was very thorough with his exam and cleaning. I did not have to wait at all for my appointment. I strongly recommend Dr. Tran to everyone. He is very nice and honest! Thank you Dr. Tran
