I can't even give a one star review. What do you do when your attorney takes your $3000. Retainer and $400 filing fees and does nothing and he doesn't even have the decency to contact you and missed a filing deadline. Have called, emailed and texted him every day and no response. He's a terrible attorney and should lose his license.

I retained Shawn Huggins to help me with changes to a custody agreement. He was initially responsive but after I paid his office he stopped responding. I have not received a call or email back since July. All phone calls at his office have been forwarded to an answering service and no one is at the office. Worst mistake ever.

I had been in a relationship for someone only seeking avoidance of deportation from overstaying visas and citizenship. I had tried to file annulment the company filed wrong City. The problem became her filing divorce and could not do annulment because I am disabled with a medication only delivered to legal address. She transferred it yet she did not prove innocence instead she used my moving in against me. He stayed on board although her attorney P Trenchak was yelling on phone on tape. Did his job and tolerated unprofessionalism from someone trying to get 26,000+ from a no property owner on SSDI, crazy revenge? The person still has grandchild illegally in state but is separate case now. However the fake marriage is at least over and each paid own fees for his being rational and realistic about SIMPLE DIVORCE. Justice no not yet but hopefully it will come out even did an arranged marriage using my name when not legally grandchild name. I understand women can steal the name of person stupid enough to be gaslighted but their grandchildren stealing it is more than ethically wrong it's fraud and needs still to be taken care of need different attorney.

On the court date, attorney Shawn Huggins did not provide any of the proof my sister in law had for her case. He stayed quiet the entire time and lied throughout the case, which unfortunately caused her to lose her case and put her children at risk. She had so much proof and witnesses of all the BS her partner put her in and he stayed quiet, didnt even defend her!! Definitely do not recommend him! Do not go to him. You'll waste your time, money and energy.

Mr. Huggins represented me in a custody battle I was going through when my ex was trying to take full custody of my son. Shawn was professional the whole time throughout the court process and told me exactly what to do before we started. I told him my wants, my fears, and he was truthful with me the whole time. He sticks to the facts and doesnt beat around the bush like other lawyers tend to do. He is a great defender in court and wont let opposing counsel get away with crap. I recommend him for your family/divorce needs!! Thanks Shawn
