Singer, actor Jang Na-ra is tying the knot at the end of this month

Singer and actor Jang Na-ra is getting married. The 41-year-old’s agency Lawon Culture announced Friday that Jang will walk down the aisle at the end of this month.

“The groom-to-be is six years her junior, and he works in the video production industry,” the agency said in a statement. “The two have been dating for about two years. Last year, the two decided to get married, and the two families were introduced to each other. It will be a small wedding with his and her family, relatives and close friends.”

The agency continued to say that Jang will continue with her acting career and asked her fans to “congratulate her and support her in the second chapter of her life.”

Jang also announced her wedding to her fans the same day on her online fan page “Nara Jjang dot com.”

“I am writing this today to announce personal but very happy news,” she wrote. “I’m getting married!”

“He has a beautiful smile, he’s diligent and above all, loves what he does and is so sincere, and I fell in love with it. I am so happy to spend the rest of my life with such a great man,” she wrote.

“I feels like just yesterday since I, with no characteristics to become a celebrity, made my debut, but many years have gone by,” she continued. She also apologized to her fans for not being able to “reveal any further” details about her boyfriend and the wedding, as he is not a celebrity and is "afraid of any inconveniences that he may cause to her."

Jang made a debut as a singer in 2001 under SM Entertainment. Her debut album was “First Story” with title track “Burying My Face in Tears.” Her album wasn’t well received. She gained fame after joining the cast of a hit sitcom “New Nonstop” soon after her debut. Many of her ballad songs that got released ever since grabbed fans’ attention, and she saw success with music as well. She’s been an active actor and singer in China too.
