Home to an estimated 283.7 million people, EAC’s seven Member States include Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania. The IGAD region is home to approximately 230 million people and counts Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Uganda among its eight Member States.
